One form down, onto the next.....

I need to tell the OT department what OT can do for Sam, before they tell me much about what they do.

Um, what can they do for him?

Areas of concern on form are sleeping, eating (mess and willingness to drink) writing, reading, etc

Don't know how they help really?

Their work may include such areas as :-

Sequencing, how to break a task down into manageable chunks and carry through in order , and developing concentration

Motor skills , both fine and gross, and coordination through repetitive games , activities and crafts, exercises

Proprioception (sense of how the different areas of the body work together) by focussing on specific muscles and areas of the body, for example to maintain balance

but it rather depends on what the underlying problems are. I doubt they are after any technical jargon , more a description of the sort of issues he encounters regularly.
