Hi there,

I spotted a cold sore on DS's mouth this morning, it doesn't seem to bother him but he is a picker and will not let me put any kind of cream on his baddies, so I very much doubt he'll let me anywhere near his mouth!

What can I do to make this go away before school goes back next week?

TIA x

Can you sneak some cream on while he is asleep?

Other than that I can only sympathise. Dd won't tolerate cream either and also picks. Shes got a 2cm scab on her cheek which as a 2mm scratch last week....

I don't think the cream does anything anyway - does it?

Chicken and eggs rich in the diet and absence of chocolate and nuts makes the cells less favourable for multiplying it is still growing.

Will do it when he is asleep.

Last year he got bitten on his stomach by some blood sucking midgy, he scratched them til the bled and continually picked so it ended up massive, I put a plaster on to try and stop him picking and the next morning he had scabs all around the plaster.... Thats when we realised he was allergic!! So ended up with a steroid ointment and antibiotics!

Currently he has a 5p sized scab on his head that was a bite about 4 months ago which he also picks Sad

Thanks starlight, he's just had a bath after a busy camping weekend so perfect time to do it, thanks for the reminder Smile
