My DS age 11 hasn't been in nappies for a year so I discharged him as they asked. We are having a lot more accidents of late but don't need nappies back as yet. However what would happen if we did? is it easy to get them back? TIA

Most incontinence services have a set of criteria, and you either fit it, or you don't. So, presuming your DS 'fit' the service criteria last year, and then (let's hope not) you find he 'fits' the criteria again in a few months, it should be a simple case of getting referred. In our area it's a simple form which the GP/HV whatever fills in and faxes off.

Be warned, though, that in our area, night-time incontinence doesn't count. It's only daytime - so bear that in mind when you log the 'accidents' Wink

thanks, the accidents are regular day and night, however I don't think he will go back to using nappies, prefers to go commando and preferably naked. The good thing is he doesn't leave the house much. So what do I do with spare nappies?
