ASD/PDA. Perhaps things will get better at school for him now and some staff won't just think he's naughty .

Got DS's the week before last. Now awaiting the paperwork,(the wait for a report has never felt sooo long!). I'd got to the point where I thought we'd have to wait for adult services to kick in before some stopped singing the crap Mum mantra (newsflash - I'm sure it's possible to be ASD and have a crap Mum lol!)

It's sooooo hard to resist the urge to go knock on a few office doors singing - "nah nah - you were WRONG!" But ah'm far too mooch of a laaaddie to lower mesen Wink

I'm not holding my breath on all attitudes changing, but so long as the key individuals that interact on a daily basis take it into account & don't treat him like Damien I'll be content - do you feel the same?

Yes Boc you're so right. Am tempted to contact the previous shite schools to put them straight. Makes me feel a bit more empowered to politely point current school in the right direction now Wink. They are so into it being behavioural issues but perhaps they won't find it so easy to exclude now Hmm

That has made a massive difference to Dd3 especially at school, if only I could get some more of the key people at home to change their attitudes I would be laughing.

Glad your ds's got their Dx's desperately and bochead

Could start with the neighbours attitudes tbh.

Fed up with em, as even the rain seems to be his fault iykwim yet it's OK for him to have his toys nicked, be teased, hit, kept awake by their noise till gone 10pm most of the summer hols. We have to travel out of our locale for DS to have any sort of social life, oddly enough he's fairly popular at school.

Sooner or later I'll lose it with the mother of some precious lil' "estate darling".
