DLA renewal - evidence - submit Statement of SEN?

The dreaded DLA renewal has arrived.
3 years ago DD was awarded MRC, no award for mobility, (which I was advised was "unlucky" and that we should have had it, but I was too scared to appeal, in case we got our MRC down graded to LRC, or lost the lot!) bird in the hand and all that.
Anyway, in terms of evidence, should I submit her Statement of SEN? IEPs?
I just hate all the form filling!
She is diagnosed with ASD, fine and gross motor skill difficulties, learning difficulties, attends mainstream school with 25 hours 1:1 support, so requires a high level of care.
Thinking about getting a statement written by her LSA, who knows what her needs are.
Any advice very welcome!
Last time I had a lot of help from a really knowledgeable benefits adviser, but sadly, that service has been cut, due to the "cut-backs" in parts of the public sector Angry

When I reapplied for DS last year, the advisor I had from CAB said I should just send in his Statement of SEN even though the advice was all about 4 years old and that it was better not to get a statement from a professional as you couldn't monitor what they said and it might not be helpful. I did as she advised, DWP wrote to SENCO at schoo (who knows him well) and we got what he had before (MCR and LMR) with no trouble.

I usually submit the boys' statements. If nothing else, it's documented evidence that their care needs are greater than those of their peers.

the new style forms - DLA1 - ask for copies of IEPs/SEN so i think if you have a copy, it would only help speed up the application process

personally i avoid sending anything I don't HAVE to send, especially as I think they try to use these documents to find evidence that 'they aren't that bad'. I was asked once for my ds statement etc and when my ds mobility was downgraded on the decision makers notes it said statement suggests not severe learning difficulty (my ds is very severely ASD, in an ASD specific school and is totally non verbal)! I appealed and was successful. I have just done his renewal and I did not include any other documents. It went straight through.
