Seeing a clinical psychologist, well my 4 year old is and they think this may be why she is behaving the way she is. Im not sure though what to think. Anyone else had this?

Hi didicause what is your dd being assessed for?

Take this with a pinch of salt a BIG pinch I might add.

This happened to me too and all too often proffs look at the parenting and the mothers poss depression first before they open their eyes.

Try not to worry x

They dont know what is the matter to be honest. Its all come from me pushing to get her looked at, mainly due to her meltdowns and 0-60 rages which has gone on a long time.

I dont know what it is either but something isnt right ;(

Ok well first thing I would say is dont go and blame yourself right? Otherwise it will cloud over everything and wont do you or dd any good x

Try doing your own detective work on what you think the issues she has are.

Make a diary of things such as when she has a meltdown, what happened before it started and how she was calmed out of it.

You may find triggers that are causing it this way.

How is she at school? is the school happy with her progress or have they put forward some concerns to you.

Write everything down and then do some net searching or ask on here. No one can diagnose your DD but someone may give you some pointers in the right direction :)

I meant nursery rather than school :)

Hmm Ask them for the evidence. Research. Studies.
