Did you see this about SEN pilots?

I emailed IPSEA about this week after they sent an email round asking for feedback.

Their response - we don't give advice on this??

Don't ask for feedback then - it's ok, I'll sort it out myself as usual!

Yes. I've seen it. However, I never did take the pilots seriously. There is no defining criteria for success or how policy will be derived so always just assumed that the government wa going to do whatever and cherry pick quotes/interpretations from pilots to justify themselves.

I had a job reviewing government pathfinders once!

Yes - were 2 articles - one from my neck of the woods - with LA saying they were deliberately doing small trials so as to be realistic about what they could achieve keep the £150,0000 for other purposes

I keep reading articles saying how awful personal budgets will be as parents won't know / too stupid what to spend it on and will be hoodwinked by marketing from private providers. Really bugging me - why is it ok for me to be forced to pay for crap State provision that turned up once a term but I can't be trusted to choose a provider myself.

I agree. Not sure crap provision could be any crapper than what state were offering.

Accountability - ooooh it's a dirty word Wink

I agree too. I saw those comments. As if we are getting quality provision now. At least, we could choose someone we felt we could trust and who wasn't there just with the sole mission to undermine our child's provision.

That would be a 100% improvement.
