Could my DH have Aspergers?

I had a lightbulb moment after something Vicarinatutu said yesterdayabout her DS having the 'aspie bounce'.

My DH (40) has a distinctive bouncy walk, he walks on his toes, his heels don't touch the ground. I don't know if this is the 'aspie bounce' though.

DH is of above average intelligence, high IQ, did very well in school and uni, has a high law degree and amazing general knowledge (almost photographic memory).

He is very un-empathetic. He can't understand any MH problems at all and thinks people should 'man up'. He is very black and white with the kids, tells them off at the drop of a hat and can't seem to negotiate.

He has a reputation for being a straight talker ie offensive and seems to relish in this. He isn't one for small talk. He is very witty.

He is successful and popular at work.

Any thoughts?

WetAugust- the wired link doesn't work.

Not sure DH is goingto be open to checking out any links, he will just instantly dismiss my thoughts as 'bollocks'.

My nephew and a friends DS have ASD and HFA and I have never heard anyone say that DH exibited any symptoms as a child.

All the adult ones fit though.

I'm not sure about the "aspie bounce". My BIL does it. He is a professional tennis coach and the most sociable person I know. He definitely doesn't have AS but he thinks he might have ADHD. T
