Last Friday she wanted to talk to me at the end of school as his behaviour had been deteriorating over the week and the supply teacher on Friday didn't help.

He came home in a stinking mood, growling at everyone.
After a while in peace and quiet in his darkened room he finally told me what the problem is . ( moving to high school where friends are not going so "so called friends" are now ignoring him).

She was so lovely. He had said he didn't want anyone to do anything as he was worried they would then only talk to him because they had been told to. She promised not to , but said she would have a think and look through all her resources to see what she could come up with about keeping up existing (real) friendships and making new ones in the new school, and to ease fears over the transition.

We all need someone like her to look after our DC's.

I shall miss her so much next year.

Can't you take her with you?

I wish we could. She has DS for 3 mornings a week, but in practice is also in the class for another child every afternoon and so helps him then if needed too. She also runs the breakfast club and the after school club at the primary school. Sadly she needs to stay where she is because of her other commitments. ( I did ask.)
