Hi,
The first 2 months of the therapy are described in the book:
- the diet
- the vitamins / supplements
- the stairs exercise
- tooth brushing exercise
All of us whose children are older than about 5 have started with that.
If you follow that for 2 months you should see improvements.
Then, to get the next bit of the therapy you need to visit a clinic.
There are other clinics in the UK if the new forest is too far away.
The first appt is £250.
The plan is not for life. The whole therapy takes 12-18 months and I certainly expect at the end of it DS to be cured and need no further help.
Already, after only 6 months, he is vastly better. If this was the end of the treatment I'd be very pleased with the results. But it's not. We're not even half way through yet, so I expect way more improvements.
The majority of Aspergers symptoms are caused by problems with the prefrontal cortex (emotional, social, anxiety....). And we haven't even started exercises to help that yet. We're still working on the cerebellum.
So to summarise, you should see changes in 2 months of following the plan at home. If you do, then go visit TH to continue the treatment.
