I would like to take dd somewhere around here birthday time in August. Not too expensive as we sre going to france with friends in June as a main holiday.
Any suggestions please? I'm considering things like peppa pig world or legoland.
DD will be 3 on her bday, she wldnt really take much notice of animals in a zoo, she likes physical things that she can climb on, play areas etc.
She doesn't particularly like peppa just thought it might be a good place for toddlers? She loves disney, mickey mouse etc but euro disney a bit too exp this year I think.

We are in wales but willing to travel to london or similar distance+stay overnight.

Dd is ok in crowds, she doesn't take any notice of other people really so that wldnt bother her but would be a bit worried about her running off in big crowds (I do have reins though that I can try)
She would not be very good at having to queue tho!
Havnt heard of cotswold wildlife park, I will look that up thanks

What about the dinosaur park near Norwich? I know it's usually more a boy thing but my DD loved it when she was little. Loads of room so you don't feel crowded and lots and lots of things to climb on and do.

I agree with the dinosaur adventure park - brilliant indoor and outdoor play areas.

Belton house - again brilliant play area and they have just opened a new indoor bit.

If you do go to Legoland you could try and get an exit pass from guest services. We use one whenever we go as DS (ASD) hates queuing.

You could also try and get your tickets from Merlins Magic Wand. They give out tickets for children with disabilities to any of the Merlin group. There was a bit of a hoo-haa about the application process at the beginning of the year but I think they decided against changing it.

Oh thanks nothinginthefridge that does sound good. Its a bit far for us to go just for 1 night but I do go up to Norwich a few times a year to visit family as my mum is from up there so I will keep that in mind for when I'm up there next

There is also the Thetford Forest visitors centre - we love going there to have a run round. Brilliant on a sunny day.

last year we went to folly farm it's perfect for children and combines big open spaces and lots of adventure play inside if it's raining

they also have character meet and greet type things
