Great article in the Daily Telegraph. I really would like to put my DS's name down for one, but as he's deaf as well it could means lit of additional training. Besides the real ageing SallyBear may take offence to another Labrador living here!

Just delete the "here" at the end of the web address and the link works. I'd love a dog as I think it would be great for DS but we're not in during the day when I'm not on sick leave so not fair to them. Don't think our cats would be very happy either!

We don't have an "assist" dog, however, we do have a really lively puppy (almost a year old now). DS2 will pet him sometimes.. other times he will go out of his way to avoid him or simply ignores him. I'm not sure he knows exactly WHAT to do with him. Hmm

After looking at the article, I think I could use a dog that picks up dropped items. Grin I spend half my time doing that! Hmm
