ds goes and does something I thought was completely out of his ability to do!

He had a very slightly wobbly tooth which came out when he bit into an apple. He said a very calm ow and looked at the tooth imbeded in the apple and then at the blood dripping from his mouth. He calmly said "I'm bleeding what do I do" I got him a cold flannel to bite on.

He was either very, very deeply in shock or possibly not my child!!!

A: He doesn't cope well with losing his teeth as they are a part of him and the concept is very hard to deal with
B: It wasn't even very wobbly so must have hurt somewhat when it came out but he didn't scream or throw a massive tantrum or nearly black out because the pain was so overwhelming
C: It bled AND he could see and taste it....un f ing believable the two worst combinations that you could possibly provide for ds and he just says "I'm bleeding what do I do"
D: He accepted the flannel and pressure as a remedy without losing the plot completely
E: I am crying as this is the first time that my 7 and a half year old has ever ever ever reacted calmly to something that has physically happened to him unexpectedly and may have actually been a little painful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
