I don't know what to do with him and I am getting more and more stressed. He has always been a very restrictive eater :( and chasing him around to get something into him 3 times a day is making me miserable.

I am just feeling so down as I know a better diet would help him develop but he is just getting worse and worse. I have had advise from CAMHS, HV, Paed and dietician all around introducing things slowly or the 1st this next that ...but nothing has helped. Of all his problems this is the hardest for me to deal with as he has extreme rigidities around food :(

Help!!

Sorry, bee, I've no good advice as my DS does eat. I have resorted to Complan milkshakes before now to stop him losing weight, though.

Bumping for you.

I have certain foods that I knew DS2 would eat, I cook meals for the family and if he shows no interest out would come Cheerios (plain) and cooked dried pasta, no stress and no anxiety. I cannot remember the name but there is a supplement you can get from the doctor they do not like to prescribe as it is very expensive but that is their problem if it is bad keep making appointments and asking for dietary supplements.

have you tried making a teddy bear's picnic or some kind of game? My ds is terrible about eating as well. He will eat if he's distracted from the actual eating process e.g. when he's watching tv, but he hates eating at the table - he has severe sensory issues. It's not very good for table manners I know, but it gets some food inside him!
