My close relative has had a stroke and is in hospital. She cannot use one arm. She is now conscious and alert and I can see her getting bored and frustrated soon. I want to buy her a couple of books in large print and also a stand to put on her table so she doesn't need to try and hold the book whilst trying to turn the pages etc. Any recommendations please??? Any other suggestions??? Thanks!

Kindle! Only need to be able to move a finger and you can set the text to whatever size font you want!

A kindle is brilliant as you can buy lots of different books, and set the font however you like (and I only have use of one hand, so know the kindle really, really works).
My mum has a bookchair which she swears by, but I find all of those rather fiddly as its hard to hold the book in and do the little pegs onehanded, esp a bigger book like large print

My concern is whather she would struggle with the technology! I have a kindle and love it :)
