special needs toys/ equipment/ educational stuff - would you buy?

Over the years I have collected boxes and boxes of stuff for Ds2 which I have laboriously sorted into 'themed' boxes : Postman Pat, Thomas, farm animals, transport, colours, etc. Some of them we've used, especially when we were doing his ABA programme, but I've come to realise that we'll probably not use them much from now on, so was thinking of making up bundles, or boxes to sell on ebay, particularly directed at the SEN market.

Would like to know if you'd be interested in buying this sort of thing? Most of the boxes contain a mixture of toys, puzzles, books, flash cards etc. Or do you think I'd be wasting my time? Be honest!
TIA

I've seen adverts before on ABA UK about bundles of resources, and they seem to sell.

For me, it would depend on the the bundle - if we were short of a particular area (farm animals, for eg, or word flashcards) then I would - it would be helpful to me to know names and makes of puzzles/flashcards/vocabulary sets so that I onew I wasn't doubling up...

I was thinking of listing everything in the boxes, so will def do that. The problem is, they'd be heavy to send, but probaby wouldnt reach a wide enough audience if I put collection only.

Ask on the eBay boards for names of reliable, cheap couriers? I know I've seen people mentioning eg 7 pounds for a box, which is reasonable postage costs imo.

Once dc3 is past the developmental stages where a lot of our stuff will be useful I'll be doing the same! I have an overflowing playroom thanks to needing multiple samples of every activity to outflow dd1s elephant memory...

Grrr, autocorrect. Outfox dd1s memory...

When is your DC3 due?

End of July, so in a way I'm hoping the current nice weather doesn't stay.... I managed to have both girls on winter, so not looking forward to being heavily pregnant in summer!

I would, tbh sometimes I just search "special needs" on eBay. Blush
Couriers are cheap at £10. Everything in our house is boxed in groups. We have one of those massive ikea units for our toys, and then another load of sensory boxed in our sensory room.

I do the same lisad! Special needs stuff is so expensive if you buy new. Couriers are a great idea - thanks both.

Silver - what nice weather! Envy. You obviously don't live in the SW... Grin

'tis only yesterday and today... but has been sunny, and 20 degrees both days, adn I don't want it to continue (although at least I can persuade dd2 to walk in the sun - complaining, natch - she won't put even a toenail out of the door if it is raining! which means that dd1 goes (not so) quietly loopy as we are all housebound )

anyway, I bought them both new sunhats today, so that is the kiss of death for any decent weather - it'll be heading your way sooner than you can, erm, err, dry out your wellies?
