Ds diagnosed dyspraxic in yr 1 in state primary, now yr2 getting some ot and writing support in school and I have just started doing dietary supplementation and the exercises suggested in the brain food plan....
the school advises his reading is good, maths ok, literacy ok but writing still at early yr1 level. His last ot review has seen gross motor improve but not fine motor. Eyes are fine..... but his planning and sequencing etc are all poor
We are in W London but have the opportunity to move pretty much anywhere west! as dh job going to be mainly from home....from next year so what am I looking for in a senior school am concerned ds will be lost in a huge school and always in trouble for wrong books/lesson etc so was thinking independent but read that state can have better support.... we can get help from grandparents for fees but may be better using that for support/uni/flat...
what am i looking for???? any ideas?? thanks in advance.....
