I know I haven't used mumsnet for ages but I couldn't not share this with you.

Okay it was with the aid of a walking frame which was delivered this morning, but she hasn't stopped using it. In fact, try and help her master a step or the gravel and she gets all annoyed with you!

It was amazing, totally amazing to see her walk ahead of me to the car when I picked her up this afternoon

Had to share that with you.

Fantastic news!!

eidsvold · 10/02/2006 22:28

YEY - I knew this was Lottie the minute I saw the thread... like geekgrrl said when is the wedding?

WIth dd1 - once she had the walker she used it for a couple of weeks and that seemed to be all she needed to get her confidence up. Of course now she is running - sort of- and her mainstream kindy teacher could not believe me when i said she had only been walking for 6 months.

Before you know it - she will be off

fab fab fab news!!!

soapbox · 10/02/2006 22:30

Thomcat · 12/02/2006 08:11

thanks everyone.
she got a bit put off yesterday as she fell while using it and when we tried again she cried and said
'no fall mummy, no fall", bless her. not sure how much she understood but i told her everybodys falls down, it doesn't matter and sung her the ring a ring a roses, blah blah, we all fall down! told her she was beautiful and clever and took her back out for a walk up the road. bit more hesitant but she did it, well until she got to another road and decided to sit down bang in the middle of the road! taking her to the park today with it.

ps sorry for typing, am up early expressing so as am leaving new bubs next sarturday to go to theatre. nothing like an impromptu day out aye!
