Appealing a statement & representation?

we decided to appeal DD's (4, autism with severe s&l delay) statement: only few hours 1:1 despite all the reports saying she will need a "very high" level of 1:1 inluding lunch and breaks, part 2 does not match part 3, and apart from that all is "access to", "opportunities for" etc. absolutly nothing specified or quantified.

how do you go about representation? would you sort some at this stage or should it be enough if I get the forms and sort a solicitor etc if needed at a later stage?

PP round here is useless and of no help.

Well solicitors/advocates will say the sooner the better, but I'd say the later the better.

There is a lot you can do yourself and it is desirable so you have a handle on your own case.

Have you got your final statement?

You might like to provisionally book independent EP and SALT for about 3 months time as you can usually cancel a month in advance.

Ipsea will help you for free and will speak for you at the appeal if they think you are not able to do so yourself. See here you will need to look under the tribunal bit.
