I think we have just got used to how it is; its only reading it that I realise that ds needs more help (that we just do without thinking) than other kids his age. Anyone else realised the same?

i know its really silly but i just don't want to tick the box to let them contact the professionals - i almost feel grateful we have a dx and don't want to push my luck and be seen as doing it just for the dla. If i sent the dx letter plus the other reports and explained why, would that be ok? I hate talking money with others (in RL!).

At the moment for example, i can't send the little ones upstairs alone because he thinks its hilarious to growl at them - cue lots of screaming, and him not getting why his joke has gone down so badly! plus, he tried to upend a table out of frustration, and i spend a lot of time calming him down, leaving him to it, talking thro better ways of handling things.
