Also agree with above; the 'no LD' thing ahs been used to deny us help countless times- social services don't want to know, even with 2 diagnosed (autism) and 2 in the system.
Ds3 will need care- not sure yet if 24 / 7 or supported living, but he will need something. he has no LD, even with his autism- although the IQ he has is largely unavialable to him. DS1 has the opposite of LD- top of his class in 2 subjects- not sure how much help he will need but he also has autism.
I know that LD is used to replace the old 'disabled' tit;e and I suspect this is what happened with this but whereas adult services often place all disabled people under the LD title, this does not happen with disabled children. I am sure the mortice is positive but teminology can be divisive
