So sorry to hear this nicola

It must be so hard as you are very limited with what you can do.

Is ds good at sitting down and doing crafty type activities?

Can you borrow a wheelchair & go out a bit? We got one for DS from the red cross as I had to push him to school, but it meant we could at least get out & about.

My sympathies, we had 9 weeks in a full leg cast, and there are only so many games to play & videos to watch!

What kinds of things does he usually like/hate? Borrowing a wheelchair sounds like a good idea. I know that in some towns/cities the Shopmobility service will lend you one for a few hours to get around town in. Obviously not so helpful if your ds can't tolerate the town centre though.

Sorry i wasnt on last night he woke up screaming and then made him self sick so i had to stay with him till he went back off then i was to tired!! we have got a wheel chair the physio provided it 4 us but because hes only 4 the chair is tiny so they dont have the propper leg support on it they gave us a bit of wood 4 him to sit on and rest his leg on ive tried tying a shoe lace round it to keep it secure but he hates it then ends up having a fit! Hes also got a very little attention he can only concentrate on something for 10mins max, and he hates crafty activities a teacher has now just started coming out to us 3 times a week but because of his autism and his concentration she will only stay for an hour.
And weve got another 5 weeks of this!!
