Found a good way to keep keys out of reach of DS2

Just wanted to post this in case anyone else is looking for something to put their keys in that their children can't get to them.

This is on sale at Aldi right now. We bought two of them. It's a key safe with a combination open. They had quite a few in our local store.

We're putting it just inside the door, so we can access the keys, but just don't let him see the number combination. He's far too aware of how to use the keys to get outside. Hmm

Triggles - I'm glad you have found something so useful to you. They are often used outside the front door of people who have carers - very handy.

Poor DH. Another thing on his DIY list, although this one goes to the top of the list. Grin

We have two complete sets of spare keys, so we can put one set upstairs and one downstairs, each in a keysafe. This way we can use the window keys upstairs when we need to. No more sleeping with the keys under my pillow. Grin

My mum has just had one fitted by social services as she now has daily cares coming in. It's supposed to be sledgehammer proof. Should be DS2 proof, Triggles!

I'd like to think so! Grin I haven't seen him with a sledgehammer.... Hmm
