I know lots of people are having crappy tough times at the moment, Sad so I am not trying to rub things in, but I just wanted to share that there are some good schools out there... we have just had ds'd first (at school) statement review.

The school were able to show evidence of how ds has made progress and what they are doing around the areas he struggles with, they were open to taking on board the points we made and our suggestions of what might help.
They were talking about how happy they were he was there, and I nearly made his TA cry when I said how fab she was, Grin.

They were open to discussion about his sensory issues and what they can do to help him.

I just wanted to give hope to people that there are some fab schools out there....

and Wine or Brew for all those struggling with crappy schools and awkward professionals.... Sad

Thanks Guys Grin, should probably also point out ds was bored and got his willy out for a fiddle during assembly this week. Blush Luckily the lovely TA saw and got him to put it away before anyone noticed... Grin.

Puts a new spin on having a fiddle toy in your pocket, Grin

Sign, DS2 did that during a swimming lesson once. They were all lined up at the side of the pool waiting to jump in one by one, the teacher didn't notice. I didn't know whether to shout across the pool and draw all eyes to him or pretend he wasn't mine! Blush (I pretended he wasn't mine.)

ellen Grin, glad its not just mine!
