Also if you can give the piano teacher some tips that would be good. I have a different name on this professional forum, and I haven't posted - thought I would leave it to the experts.

I think they have all missed the point. I'm sure the dyspraxic boy is very aware of what he can't do - and all this "buck up and practise" stuff isn't helping him or the teacher.
