What IPOD apps?

DS2 seems to like his IPOD, he is mostly using it to phtograh his hands, the doorframes & floorboards.

I would like to give it a go with some scheduling/visual timetable. The idea being that he can have a weekly look ahead or maybe a couple of weeks so he will know how many days at school how many days till his birthday etc etc without constantly asking me 100 times a day.
Also a more detailed daily schedule, he struggles with ordering what he has done & needs to do, gets confused if he has had breakfast or lunch etc, particularlya t weekends when less structure to the day.

Has anyone used any apps with success or any ideas of any i could try.

I'm also completly thick when it comes to technology so its got to be something i can manage with the help of my 12 yr old ds1.

TIA

There's a good one called find me -autism . It's a game where you find the person . Each level gets harder ,with more distractions . Very easy to start . The idea is to build concentration and focus . You will need to run your I pad on iOS5 . If you don't have it you can download it from apple. , get the apps from app store . ( it's free as well ) .

Another app my dd loves is art of glow ...it's a drawing art that moves thingy ...sensory input from that one.

There's a good one for timetables that's called imake schedual . It's free too .

I like this app review site because you can have a look at the app, and the guy reviews them. And I think he has a child on the spectrum so he knows what to look out for.
