Dh and me both on this board sinse we found out about gdd and asd for dd 3.5 now, have found out loads from the board but never posted, need to get something out of my mind as I am loosing sleep ...
Dh made a "friend" on the board and they have been in touch with each other sinse then, I am not if I am ever in their conversations ... It was alright till then but suddenly now dh wants to go and set up a playdate with her ds 4 and I am not even invited as I should rest?, have had doubts about their friendship and have confronted him but he starts crying that I don't trust him and bla bla
He is on the phone texting her all the time and have even seen him deleting the text before he lets go the phone, can't even go near his phone or laptop... Err
What should I do?
Is it just my mind playing up?
Do I trust him?...
Many more questions...

Actually I don't care anymore, don't think there is any point continuing this relationship if I can't trust him any more, I do love him a lot but I believe that I rather live without him than be with him with all the stress. That's the last thing I need on my plate.
I have a beautiful daughter to look after, amazing mom to help me whenever I need her and another expecting baby boy due in April this year.
Thank you for your messages, it really helped.

I'm a single Mum so have no partner but believe strongly in female solidarity (e.g I wouldn't have become a single Mum in the first place if some other cow hadn't offered my selfish ex a "shoulder to cry on", when " her indoors didn't understand him" etc).

He is being a selfish so & so and his mother is enabling his infantile behavior & in doing so undermining her grandchilds emotional stability & family life. He's a big boy now and needs to wear long trousers having created a family of his own.

I find it hard to believe the other woman is a genuine poster to this board, we all suffer isolationism and it would be a reflex reaction for all of us I think to invite BOTH parents to an initial playdate unless one (Like in my own case) was a genuinely absent parent. If she is from this board I'm willing to bet she has no idea he hasn't passed along the invite and will put a right flea in his ear on reading this thread.

Focus on yourself and your kids.

Fully agree with bochead, you need to be strong and be there for your kids, they have a wonderful mom. Good luck
