Can anyone recommend a fridge lock which goes over and above any available for NT toddler's fingers?

DS1 is a compulsive fridge raider, and started to be podgy Blush

Or should I just get a padlock and hasp kind of thing! Grin

Ha i bought one to keep DS out of the fridge(he loves throwing the eggs).Took me bloody ages to put the contraption on and then i couldnt open the fridge at allBlush.
DS came strolling into the kitchen looked at the lock chuckled to himself and opened the fridge within 5 seconds Envy.
So now DS has tought me how to open the fridge the eggs are now in the top cupboard Grin

I would agree with shazian, these Ikea locks are the best ones. We also have a beeping noise on our fridge which goes off if the door is left open too long. This has proved very useful if someone has forgotten to fasten the lock and ds (ever the opportunist) has pounced.

The Patrull Ikea one is the one we already have! It is good, but he's 4.6 now, so big enough to work it all out Grin

Think I need more things on high shelves (but he climbs up and goes in...!)

I will seriously think about a hasp type thing with adhesive stickers and a small combination padlock...!!!!

Hi there just to say there is a national organisation called Remap who will solve problems like this for you free of charge. They are specialists in making and/or adapting things for people with special needs they specialise in things that you cannot buy in shops. Fridge locks are a breeze for them!! Get in touch with your local team leader and they will do a home visits, assess the need and go off and solve the problem.
