Skiing - Easter hols & ASD

Hi there, just wanted to post quickly in case anyone else has DCs who love to ski.
We are doing a 2 week trip this Easter to the Alps. We go self-catering [because it's easier to manage his routines and specifics about food], we're going by Eurotunnel [because we are fascinated with trains], we're driving [because again - routines, space, can pack all of his toys that he wants rather than trying to fit in a suitcase] and DS will be doing 2 weeks of full-time [morning & afternoon] ski school [again - routine!].

Also - and importantly for me - it's cheap, less than £500 for travel & accomodation for the whole family [well for us that's just 2 but it can be 4 or 6 etc].

I know it is hugely specific, and probably wouldn't appeal to 99% of people, but just in case you have a DC with Asperger's & ADHD [although we are still awaiting final confirmed diagnosis but hey!], or in fact anything else that needs routine and predictability, and would like to know there is at least 1 other mum in the resort that completely understands, just drop me a PM for details.

Hi Did you know that disability snow sport uk does disabled ski'ing at most dry and snow slopes in the uk .at a reduced cost.
ps you haven't mentioned lift pass cost.

Hi ethel1,

Thanks for that info - I will definitely check them out, as we went to sno'zone in Milton Keynes and found it very expensive on regular prices.
