I give mine fish oil (eskimo kids) as omega 3. 6 & 9 is supposed to be beneficial.

They follow a gluten free diet and I have seen genuine difference since they started on that.

I mean, you can't cure autism or anything silly like that with diet and vitamins! But I think you can work on other things and improve general health and it can help them.

Mine certainly benefitted coming off gluten. I saw a real change in them - both bowel problems and in my older son I saw decreased aggression and my younger son only started to talk after all these changes. Now, it may be coincidence and these changes would have happened anyway at that point, but since it isn't hurting them in any way to not have gluten and to take suppliments - what the hell, eh? Grin

have asked post below to be deleted to remove identifying details, so will repost without details:-

Have you got a speech therapy referral yet? If you aren't under speech therapy alread, and if you aren't at work in the day time, I would look to see if one of the children's centres do the You Make the Difference Hanen course - it's a course (with a creche provided!) geared towards parents at risk of language delay, to help you help them communicate. The speech therapy department runs better courses, as they are run by qualified speech therapists, and the children's centre ones aren't, but it's something useful to do while you are waiting for speech therapy.
