and disappointment from me.
DD has definite ASD traits, (CAMHS have said most likely Aspergers and mentioned Dyspraxia too) is wetting herself in school, sometimes she can go off and change, sometimes she doesn't. She gets panicky about wetting herself and spins and sings whilst taking her clothes down. (Amongst other things)
I went to pick her up at the normal time yesterday, and the 1st thing she said was 'i'm wet, i need to change' so since DH was with us, he went to help her and I hung back as i noticed she had a supply teacher...
Apparently her usual teacher 'had to leave early' so they had drafted in a teacher from KS2 to help out (DD is in Reception) I asked her if she was aware that DD is having assessments carried out, and she shook her head and said 'oh no, you've got nothing to worry about with DD, she's lovely. no problems at all'
THAT'LL BE WHY SHE HAS SAT IN URINE SOAKED CLOTHES ALL DAY AGAIN THEN!!!!!
I know this is small in the grand scheme of SN and schools, but my funny, talented, excitable, dramatic, eager to learn deserves better than this.
Sorry for ranting - I'm waiting for a call from the local SNiPs team to get support while i'm writing this...
