Just had DS annual review at his asd unit he started at in september, and they recommend a move to SS.Im usually so stronge but i just want to cry.
I knew they were finding him hard but having to listen to all the negatives has really rocked me,hes only just becoming his jolly self again after the shock of leaving his old school. Xmas Sad

:(

Being in the right school for him is the important thing.

But, I can see why you're gutted. A bit of medicinal alcohol might be required.

:(

I'm sorry, ineedstrongcoffee, sounds like you've had a crap day. Indigo is right though, it's more important that he's in the right place. Sad It's hard to see the positives sometimes. Better that they say this sooner rather than later. (((hugs)))

:( Have a cry dont keep it in xx

Look on the side that now says he will go to a school that will know and understand his needs and you will hear more positive the next time round :) And if it is positive and he is happy then he will come on in leaps and bounds :)

Right ive had a strop, sulk, cry and chocolate (dont like alcohol cos im strange lol).I do know where they are coming from but ive visited the SSs already when i viewed the unit and i just cant see him fitting in those either.
Its not down to the placements or teaching its all down to him,im the only person he ever listens to and will not listen to anyone else no matter what they do.
Gosh i love that kid with all my heart but he frustrates the life out of me when he cant/wont show people his true little self.
