It's at the school, but run by another organisation. Looks great, 6weeks, lots of fun science experiments- lights through prisms etc.

Now, I have NO idea how he will react to it, will he want to, will he be upset at doing something different etc. Is there any responsibility on the schools part? As the school are offering this (not for free though, and outside school hours).

I spose basically does he qualify for any extra support for this?
Help! I've literally just signed the form, not even handed it in and I'm worrying already.

I dont know where out of school hours help comes in but it does sound like a great club for the curious and fun Grin

Could you not go with him and sit on the sidelines initially or maybe take him but ask if you can hide/peep/observe from anothe classroom?

Yes, I think I will need to. It just gets tricky, I am a lp, also got dd who does dancing on the same day somewhere else, and I don't drive.

Just putting pressure on myself here Smile neither of them have done anything extra-curricular before since toddlergroups! So now I don't want them to miss out on anything.

Oh, and I just checked the flyer again, the company is www.future4science.co.uk

Any form should have a space where you can detail health and special needs issues. You can add additional notes about support needs.

Everything is so above board now on risk assessments, health and safety, etc., and they look like a legit, professional company - probably happy to have you ring them with any concerns.

It sounds great, I work with sn kids so I'd be interested to know how it goes.

They do look good on that link :) DS would love a science party. They do look proffesional so I am sure they would look out for your son. I expect he will have a great time then come home and experiment Grin
