Second Devel Pead appt today - should I be asking for anything?

My son sees the developmental Peadiatrician today for the second time. Our first visit was last April, we had been sent their as his year 2 writing was a Level 1 but the rest of his abilities were Level 3. The doctor said he had dyslexic and dyspraxic tendencies and refered us to OT for dyspraxia assessment and an EP for dyslexia assessment. We saw the OT lot in November and have just recieved their report (yesterday). They are supposed to give us an exercise plan to help ds pass information between both halves of his brain better but that hasnt got here yet. The EP said DS was too bright to be assessed for dyslexia. She said that even if he tested positive there would be no help for him unless he began "failing to access the curriculum". My question is should I be asking this man to do anything for us? Im aware that doctors at his level are hard to get to see so don`t want to waste this opportunity?

I'm not sure what to ask the paed, however did the EP give any advice on they would help ds close the gap or get written work achieved. For example the EP suggested that my son have a sloping desk and IT tuition with the possibilty of a lap top as he gets older. Sorry not much help we only found ds has dyspraxic tendencies in December and are awaiting OT.

She was a bit unhelpful really. She wrote an action plan but due to the SATs it wasn`t implimented. DS now gets an IEP that says he should have more access to IT but its a bit hit and miss. The other parts of the IEP seemed to have helped his confidence a bit but his root problem is still there.
