I went to the show this morning. Although its only a small show in the foyer of an obscure university, it was fantastic. I'm so pleased I went. I had trouble keeping it together, it was interesting and very moving. I wonder where it will go next? One part is a huge panel of over 200 photos of different DS children which is to illustrate that they are not all the same. The plan is to have 365 photos in this section ultimately to represent each day of the year. My friend's son who has DS and autism is featured. The photos and written account are so moving. I really had trouble keeping it together and thought the students would think I was some mad woman blubbering in their foyer so I had to go outside I'll see if I can find out what happens to the show next.
