It was the first time I have gone to one, it was a bit wierd to start with sitting with real people who understand what each other talking about. I am used to talking on here but not really anywhere else.

There were quite a few there and unsuprisingly most of us either have had or are having issues with school.

It is a new group so we will have to see how it goes but I for one hope it continues because the lady who started it has some really good ideas.

You don't have to answer this I just wanted to let you all know that something good was happening in the world of ASDSmile.

Glad it went well Smile. I went to my first one last week, I thought it was just a coffee morning at the school and thought I'd show my face as I don't know any parents of ds's new classmates. I was quite surprised to find it was a support group (I'm not a natural joiner-in-er so would normally avoid), but I met some nice people and got fed choccy biscuits so all was fine Grin. Sounds like the opposite of yours though, we spent the whole time saying how lucky we are that our dcs are at such a fab school!

I was one of the lucky ones TBH, pixel, Dd3 is at a brilliant school now but we have had a horrible experience before we moved her.

We were fed cakesGrin which was a bonus. I am glad you enjoyed your surprise support groupSmile.
