i thought it was a diagnostic tool for autism?

ICD-10 is a diagnostic referral tool same as DSM-IV.

It is mentioned in the NICE guidelines too to be used :)

The ICD 10 is a classification system. Its like a handbook of psychological conditions and its used in diagnosis.

So it may have meant to say ICD 10: ODD, CD.

In other words, according to the ICD 10 this child meets the criteria for ODD and CD. The report should have made that clearer and be more readable than it sounds though.

agree with coffee, it's like the DSM IV, it's a collection of diagnostic criteria for all sorts of conditions, so they are just saying that's the test they used iyswim. I think ICD is short for International Classification of Disease

It is the World Health Organisation classification system for diseases/conditions
