I have just written a statement re my ds's treatment in an ASD unit where he was bruised and questionably restrained, I need to send it asap. I have uploaded the photographs of the injurys and attached them to the statement that I am sending via email. Is this the done thing? Would it be better to send a hard copy of such a statement and photos only? I am planning to do this as well. Its just such a sensitive subject and matter I feel a bit uncomfortable sending it by email. Am I being daft? It is all uploaded and waiting to go. So what do you think?

Is it to a specific perosn or to a department "in box"? I would be cautious about sending to a generic in box but an individuals email account I may eb a little happier with.

No it is to an individual, his caseworker and I have asked her to pass the information along to the people she deems relevant. I do have a good relationship with her.

I would say send the email, but then follow it up with a hard copy for her files.

As you have a good relationship with the caseworker, why don't you ring her and ask what the best method of communication is?
