Any ideas on what to tell an 8yr boy?

I just couldn't bring myself to type "...about hard-ons" in the title, but more lately ds (AS/ADHD) has been getting them when he is playing/watching something exciting or hugs someone - even me.

I need to talk to him about this as he may do it to someone at school. It is always accompanied by "my willy feels funny!" in a loud voice to anyone who's around. His dad and I are divorced and is of no use or ornament anyway.

Any ideas of how I can talk to him gently about this so that it doesn't worry him? Or a book maybe? Thank you.

Tricky! I suppose if he;s Aspie it's best to be quite direct, almost Biological, but then follow that up with very clear rules about privacy and not shouting "my willy feels funny". Have you looked on the NAS wesbite to see if they have any suitable books.

No, I haven't but that's a good place to start, thanks Jimjams. I just don't want him getting a name for himself!
