paed appt- what 'history' will they want to know?

9 mths after we first were told that ds (5.5) warranted 'further investigation', we have our first paediatrician appt on Friday. I'm getting a little nervous about it- the long wait gives it so much more emotional significance I think.
Dh and I are sure he has Pathological Demand Avoidance and would like him to be assessed by an expert in PDA (or more realistically someone who has at least heard of it Smile).
I have got a lot some notes on the problems we encounter, details of typical episodes over the last year, behavioural interventions etc. but what else will they want to know?

Usually they want a potted history from pregnancy onwards, so straight forward pregnancy, easy/difficult birth, when ds reached his milstones, things like that. Good luck with the appointment, the waiting is horrible.

They want history about pregnancy, birth, milestones, and family history too.

Thanks, I've put that info in my notes too now.
I also found a 'diagnostic pathway' on my local authority website and I can see now this appt is a 'referral for health assessment (to consider and exclude any additional health needs or other diagnosis)' so really this is gateway to a comprehensive multi agency assessment.
We will just have to hope they don't direct us to parenting classes or similar instead- the school nurse and family support worker both commented that we know enough of the theory to run our own!
