Following on from lovely photo thread from rebl, I thought I would do a lovely thread about what are kids ARE good at.
Personally DD1 is a wonderful watercolour artist (pic on profile), DD2 is a great little singerand makes me laugh every day :)

DS1(7) is a maths whizz and knows his way around a computer like no one's business.

DS2(5) is very good at hiding the floor! He does sing beautifully, too - he holds a note really well and, even though he's non-verbal, tries to imitate the words he hears.

DS2 has Aspergers, and I do get fed up with people expecting him to be amazing at maths, or brilliant at reading because he is well below average at both!! BUT he has a great sense of humour and the most infectious laugh you can ever imagine. Even when I am supposed to be cross with him he can make me laugh till I cry Smile. He is great at photography, and can pick up a tune really quickly too.

My ds is good at history, geography, cooking, computers and making us laugh.

Those watercolours are wonderful, lisa! Totally in awe! Envy

Dd reads a lot and is interesting to talk to (when not cowering under the bedclothes).

Ds is good with people and a great mimic; when he tells a funny story his timing is immaculate.

DS has a great memory for facts and navigation but I think his greatest skill is being able to watch films repeatedly every day without getting bored Grin

My son, (aged 4 Autism)
is a fantastic big brother. If his little 1yo brother, Jacob, is laying and kicks the blanket off he will put it back on him again and again.
If we give Him a drink, he will automatically say 'have some Jacob' and pass it to him.
