I sent the forms off last week, anyone know how long it takes them to make a decision?

Ds has'nt been dx with ASD (still being assessed) but all the signs are there, so maybe it will be refused because there is no dx, though the HV filled in the back to confirm his symptoms.

But then my sister has a 12 yr old who also has never been DX with anything (doctors are baffled by her}and she has never been refused yet.

Will just have to wait I suppose

Ds2 doesn't have an official diagnosis yet. His assessment report says that he has AS traits but the Paed won't give an official dx until ds2 is at least 3. He was awarded higher rate care.

I got mine back in 10 days
E had a typed letter from about 14 specialists though so they had little checking to do
Our paed said they do check very hard any ADHD, ASD disorders thoroughly nowadays though.
