Small inclusive secondary school in SW region

New to mumsnet today!!
Can anyone help? We are looking for a small mainstream secondary school in the SW area with an inclusive philosophy. We are currently near Milton Keynes but would be willing to move to a new area/catchment.

Don't have a label to attach - child, probably about a year behind others of peer group in some areas - hence mainstream with help rather than specialist school. This is why finding a suitable school is proving to be problematic....most schools are striving for academic excellence rather than publishing their pastoral side.

I used to work at a secondary modern school in Salisbury - inclusive obviously but all the top pupils gad been creamed off by the grammar school system. I don't really agree with it (that system) but we certainly had a few children who had non specific special needs and it seemed to work for them. It was a very small school which helped I think. While I was there it held the dubious honour of being the bottom of the league tables for Wiltshire but they have had a change of head since so things may have picked up.
