MMR booster. should my autisic son get it?

my 5 year old had all his vaccinations when he was a baby, including his MMR at 13 months.

however, i never got him his booster when he was 4.

i believe you are born with autism, and it is not caused by the MMR, however, i didnt want to give him anything which could exacerbate it.

now i'm not so sure and think he should maybe get it. i'm very pro vaccination usually.

anyone have any thoughts?

My understanding of the vaccines is that they only 'work' for a certain length of time - if they work at all, often they don't.

If they do make you immune, that immunity will only last for a few years, thus making adults susceptible to measles etc, which previous adults wouldn't have been (me, for example, as I had measles as a child).

It is actually more dangerous to be susceptible as an adult to many of these diseases. It is thought to be good for the immune system in the long run to fight off these diseases as a child.

Introducing diseases via vaccines (straight into the blood system) is unnatural and not good for our bodies. We were not designed to fight disease this way.

The vaccines can often introduce the disease to a person's body thus causing them to suffer the illness (as posters on here have confirmed).

I don't know about whether it causes autism. Most people suggest not.

The only thing I would say is that vaccines are full of such vile stuff that whether your child is OK or not straight after the vaccine is neither here nor there. My worry for my children is what will be the consequences in the future. Maybe 10/20 years down the line.

I believe that autoimmune difficulties are connected to vaccines. For me this makes sense.

I also believe that the drug companies really try to scare people into having vaccines. It interests me that someone on here said there was an outbreak of measles in their region, recently, but did not know of anyone in there region at the time who had actually had measles.

I have not vaccinated my son since he had a bad reaction to the BCG at 6 weeks. He has since been diagnosed with CP. I do not think the 2 are connected, but know that vaccines cross the blood/brain barrier and so do not want to cause further damage.

I will not vaccinated DD as having researched the whole vaccination thing I've been put off entirely.
