Butlins ban a group with learning disabilities for being "intimidating"

i have asd , i would love butlins to ban nt people because I find them patronizing lol

and they get drunk , make too much noise in the swimming pool,

Twice a year I get a coach load of ppl with learning difficulties of various levels and some of them very severe, come into my shop 20/30 at a time with a helper in the front and one at the back supervising. I am only a tiny shop and the only one there. Personally I enjoy seeing them twice a year and they now recognise me and I love to see the grins on their faces. They are happy and it is their only holiday. My young dd has been with me and has helped with putting things in bags for them or choosing a postcard or two and has never felt intimidated in any way! I can honestly say I would rather see them every day than the majority of the rude, impatient, rowdy NT holidaymakers that I have to serve.

Butlins are huge with a high amount of staff and they cant cope with just 36 SN ppl? Lame excuse just discrimmatory and snobish end of.

They take large groups for things like hen nights - surely those are more intimidating - loud, drunk, lairy, etc.

It is discrimination end of.

Say they are being loud and splashing around in the pool - so WHAT?! So do children, not gonna ban them are they.

Hannahsmummsy - your first post made me chuckle. My DS is on the spectrum (and I often think I may well be too) - I know what you mean, I often find NT people tiresome.
