Hi, I'm new here and hoping for some advice from you knowledgable people...
Anyone know about EBSD provision - state or independent in London or the home counties? I adopted my Dd from the care system aged nearly 8. She's now at the end of Y9. She is at risk of permanent exclusion and currently on a 10 day exclusion for intermittent but serious fighting incidents. She has an ADHD diagnosis but her main problem is her extreme anger because of her appalling early start. Academically she is bright enough (L6 in English and science, L5 in maths and just achieved a 'c' on her RE gcse mock). She doesn't have huge behaviour issues in class, in fact got a glowing school report. She's a bit like marmite - the teachers either love her or hate her. She is currently being assessed for a EBSD statement which I anticipate will be granted. But if she gets permanently excluded (which I anticipate by Christmas) where can she go? There appears to be nothing for EBSD girls who could cope with a reasonably academic rather than a vocational setting. I would prefer day school in (west) London, though would consider weekly boarding in the home counties.
Any thoughts gratefully received!
Thank you
