Absolutely no food colourants or preservatives. I think from memory 7Up is the only safe fizzy drink. !

A good range of vitamins and minerals. not sure what though, if any, are specifically important?

You need need to cut out fo E numbers you can look for these on the packaging. Cut down on sugar. The diet only works for some children with adhd.

Thank you. I read something about certain fats but they were names that were totally unfamiliar and I have never seen labelled on any packets. Any ideas> Sorry and thanks!

Some kids are affected by additives some aren't DS is only affected by caffiene and chocolate whereas DD2 who only has mild ADHD was extremely hypersensitive to all additives MSG was the worst, ourselves and school noticed a massive difference on her return to school the summer we cut them all out. adders.org used to have a print out of the ones to avoid don't know if they still do.

Give him omega 3,6, & 9 supplements ... EyeQ, Eskimo Kids etc all avail at Tesco/Sainsburys. No squash with sweeteners eg: Aspartame. No artificial colours, flavours or additives. All sounds a right nightmare to manage, but in a few weeks you become an expert at reading food labels and will be a dab hand. This website has a more in depth list of 'dangerous' foods for our kids with abbreviations used on food packaging. My son was diagnosed this year with ADHD. I find 'crap' foods really affect his behaviour etc www.ukfoodguide.net/bestavoided.htm
