No, but would welcome any feedback.

My son (ASD/OCD/Tourettes) won't let me out of the house once we're home from school!

Yes, because that is an IDEAL time for parents with children with SNs to attend an event! Hmm

StarlightMcKenzie · 09/05/2011 16:26

I suspect it is at this time for the teachers/LA staff, rather than the parents.

Yes, I take your point starlight, I didn't set the time and have nothing to do with the university but I do hope to go to anything I can to try to get as much info about the green paper as possible, I'm really worried about the future of SEN.

I wasn't having a go at you Charlie. I find the University of Birmingham a bit anti-SN parent on the whole. I think they have a lot to answer for wrt the current dire situation we find ourselves in wrt ASD too.

Didn't think you were starlight, I don't have any history with the uni, nor do I know anything about their relationship with SN parents, I just came accross this and thought it might be worth checking out. Will let you know if I pick up on any anti SN parent vibes when I attend! I have heard about the recent court ruling regarding birmigham LA though in relation to eligibility criteria changes.
