i do have a radar key, but if you cant find a toilet what do you do? not go to places where there are no toilets. i dont drive so have to walk everywhere or bus it with DS in major buggy and DD in tow

Tell me about it! I don't go anywhere where there are no toilets, would be a nightmare - there is definitely a serious lack of toilets, especially disabled toilets. I am sure I saw a toilet campaign recently, focusing on appropriate changing areas for the disabled, larger changing beds etc.
It is extremely isolating at times.
Someone is always using the disabled facility to change a baby so I risk DD having a meltdown & soiling while we wait in the ladies!

I used to think it was weird that my dad knew where every usable toilet was in the area - and how clean they were likely to be. Now with 3 DS with 'toiletting issues' i realise how valuable that knowledge is.
What i would say is that there are lots of small shops - hairdressers, small cafe's etc that if you go in and say your child desperately needs a toilet, are happy to oblige - or let you know where the nearest shop is that has one.
Please don't let it stop you from going out and about. Don't let the 'poo' win Sad
