Not holding out a huge amount of hope given who is involved but perhaps if we bombard the researcher with ABA / evidence based practice stories they will have to consider EIBI/ABA in their research paper surely!!! You can complete it if home ed as well.
autism education trust
And here is the blurb from the website:
"We have commissioned an important new research project, which is being carried out by a group of researchers and practitioners.
This project is looking into what current educational targets and assessments are used for children on the autism spectrum within schools in England and how they relate to children?s outcomes both in the short term but also in the longer term, in adult life.
We are looking to identify what range of positive outcomes people on the autism spectrum are aiming for and what aspects of childhood schooling can lead to positive outcomes.
The specific aims for this project are:
To define appropriate learning and personal development targets for children and young people on the autism spectrum and how to best assess those target skills.
To identify which learnt skills lead to best outcomes in adults on the autism spectrum
To disseminate the findings from this project to inform policy, practice and commissioning.
We are consulting a range of people, including children, young people and adults on the autism spectrum, parents, practitioners, regulators and others who may be influencing policy-making. We want to know their opinions and so we will be conducting a series of online surveys, focus groups and face-to-face interviews. Please note that this consultation only covers England.
The surveys will be open until the 15th May 2011"
